Artists Statement:

In my work I try to present everyday objects with a twist; an other-worldly, tragic and sometimes disturbing quality. I try to instill a sense of the supernatural without using overtly grotesque imagery. In some of my work I draw heavily on symbolism including Jungian archetypes, folklore and modern urban ledgend.

I try to keep my images low key and subtle because I like to let the viewer fill in the details and bring their own interpretation to the piece. However, if you really want to know the story behind a particular piece just ask, I'll be happy to tell you.   -Jamie

My influences include; Hugh Syme, HR Giger, Jan Svankmajer and Fred Stuhr.
